funded by "Proof of Concept Award-2006" given by University of Leeds Career Centre "Spark", a business Start-Up
programme in partnership with the Centre for Graduate Entrepreneurship in Yorkshire.

Abiona Limited named as finalist in ‘Natwest Startup Business Plan of the Year - 2006’
Blossoming new business Abiona Limited has been unveiled as one of four finalists at the Startups Awards 2006 in the ‘Business Plan of the Year’ category.
The short listing judges were impressed by Abiona Limited concept and potential, placing the business among a handful of lucky finalists plucked from hundreds of entries. The Startups Awards, organised by Crimson Business’ Startups.co.uk, comprises of 15 categories, each showcasing the best new businesses in the UK.

Abiona Limited has been shortlisted as one of finalists at the UKSEC National Business Plan of the Year 2006.
Judging of UKSEC's National Business Plan Competition is underway, details about the competition and this year's prizes can be found here. Presentation of the awards to the winners of the competition will be made at the UKSEC Conference and Gala, to be held in Sheffield on 14-15 November. To applaud the best of student entrepreneurship, the Gala hosts around 250 entrepreneurial leaders, students and members of the enterprise network. It is part of the UKSEC Conference and one of the major events during Enterprise Week.
